This 1985 Northern Telecom Ditto is an almond coloured touch tone telephone in the U.S. version. This open-box, used example is part of the collection of telephones donated by Cliff Read, a Bell-Northern Research (BNR) industrial designer.

The Ditto was part of Northern Telecom’s residential telephone lineup. This example helps preserve the history of the company’s telephone designs and provides a comparison with the Canadian versions in the Old Telephone Room collection.
