This 1989 Northern Telecom Symphony 1000 engineering sample features a distinctive speckled green finish that was never released for production.

The telephone was received from a former Northern Telecom engineer and is preserved in the Old Telephone Room collection. Its unusual colour makes it an interesting example of the finishes explored during Northern Telecom’s telephone development work.
