1996 Comdial Hotel Telephone – Trump Taj Mahal

From The David Charles Collection

This 1996 Comdial hotel telephone is a surviving piece from the iconic Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino, once a centrepiece of Atlantic City’s vibrant casino scene.
After decades of operation, the property closed its doors on October 10, 2016, during a turbulent period marked by a major workers strike and the end of an era for one of the city’s most recognizable resorts.
This telephone would have served guests during the hotel’s busiest years, handling wake-up calls, room service requests, and countless conversations before becoming part of the final chapter in the Taj Mahal’s history.
