This Automatic Electric 23J pay station was purchased from a lady in Quebec. When it arrived on August 20, 2024, it was missing its keys, but I was able to open the back and remove the lock.

Interestingly, the lock number matched the number on the cash box. When I opened the cash box, I found $2.45 CAD inside, with coins dating from 1992 to 2010.

The pay station still had its original French Canadian instruction flag. I later obtained a Gray 20YW9 key for the top, had the Automatic Electric 10L lock re-keyed by fellow collector Jeff Lamb, and added an Automatic Electric Type 38 handset with a cloth cord. I also reproduced the French Canadian instruction flag.
