This 1950s black GPO 332L telephone was refurbished in 1965. The refurbishment included a coiled cord, removal of the drawer, and installation of a No. 12 dial.

The telephone is marked 332L, Marks 1, 2, and 2A, along with GPO FDI and the batch marking FWR 65/2.

My brother-in-law sent this telephone to me from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, in July 2016. It is part of the Old Telephone Room’s personal collection of telephones from the UK and other countries.
